Man charged in Freeport death (The Facts)

FREEPORT — The man accused of killing Nancy Brumley lived next door to her when the slaying took place. Thomas DeWayne Moreland, 20, of Lake Jackson was arrested in Freeport at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday and charged with murder in Brumley’s July 2 slaying, Freeport Police Capt. Gus Flores said.
