Fair Cites 136 Years of Farm Life (R News)

Hemlock is celebrating 136 years of life out on farm country, at the fair. This year's fair is the "Little World's Fair that's the Biggest in Livingston County." Organizers say it is bigger and better, thanks to more rides and updated amenities.

Bystander Shot and Killed on Monroe (R News)

A suspect remains in police custody, accused in the shooting death of an innocent bystander. Adam Emling, 24, of Rochester died at Strong Memorial Hospital. Police said he was shot early Saturday morning after a fight between a customer and a bouncer at Mark's Texas Hots on Monroe Avenue.

Iraq: No Demands for Withdrawal (R News)

The Iraqi government is responding to a report that said Iraq had failed to reach more than half the benchmarks set for it. Congress has already called for a troop pull out, unless the Iraqi government and military can stand on its own. Iraqi prime minister said U.S. troops can leave anytime.
