Fair Cites 136 Years of Farm Life (R News)

Hemlock is celebrating 136 years of life out on farm country, at the fair. This year's fair is the "Little World's Fair that's the Biggest in Livingston County." Organizers say it is bigger and better, thanks to more rides and updated amenities.

For the first time in its history, the Anthony L. Jordan Health Center in Rochester has a female president and CEO. The board of directors appointed Dr. Bridgette Wiefling to the post. She has previously served as medical director.

Bystander Shot and Killed on Monroe (R News)

A suspect remains in police custody, accused in the shooting death of an innocent bystander. Adam Emling, 24, of Rochester died at Strong Memorial Hospital. Police said he was shot early Saturday morning after a fight between a customer and a bouncer at Mark's Texas Hots on Monroe Avenue.
